We design Drupal websites. This is a content management system that allows the owner of the website to easily manage their own pages, blogs, galleries etc..
First, we design the ‘theme’ - front page and templates for the different kinds of content on a website - perhaps also drawing on Flash to add some slick interactivity.
We then develop how the website will function and display on the internet.
Then the client can log in and create and edit their own content. Or we can do it for them.
The potential is almost limitless. And the great bonus of using Drupal is that it is supported by a massive community that constantly improves and expands its possibilities.
