St Cross Crossword magazine

brief: St Cross College, Oxford commissioned us to redesign their annual magazine, an A4 20pp full colour magazine, drawing on the existing College brand identity.

result: The new magazine design is clean and minimal, consistent with the College's corporate identity and offers layout clarity and interest to the reader. The design evokes gravitas and professionalism, wholly fitting for an Oxford University college. Photographs of the College are used to provide an apposite setting for college alumni and Fellows news pages. Other images are used to illustrate articles.

'During the summer of 2010, Jamjar Creative worked with us to produce a very successful design for the St Cross College annual magazine, aimed at both past and present members of the College. Jamjar came up with imaginative solutions to design problems, particularly where we felt a unified approach to sections of rather disparate material was needed, and also where it was important to distinguish visually between pages of what could have looked like rather similar content. The project was completed as agreed within fairly severe constraints of time and budget. In all the company was a pleasure to work with and they acted throughout our collaboration in a very creative, efficient and professional manner. I would not hesitate to recommend them.'
